Durango - Memorial Day

We headed back to Durango for the week after Memorial Day.  It was absolutely beautiful weather and we were able to get more done on my parents house.  Most of the living room furniture arrived the day before we left so we really didn't get to enjoy it, but it sure did look good.
We went on a long walk to the top of Glacier Club.
View looking down on the house.  So beautiful!
We made Miller pose for a picture on this old fallen tree.
One day we drove to Pagosa Springs to do some shopping for the house and go to the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park.  We went on a tour and saw all of the animals being fed.  Some of the animals they have there are a black bear, porcupines, wolves, a grizzly bear, an elk, a bobcat and jaguars.
The boys posing in front of the huge elk antlers.
 The grizzly bear.
Miles taking some time to stop and smell the flowers.
Jud and my dad played golf twice while we were there.
We all decided to ride with them for the first eight holes (the house is on hole eight) on the second day.  The boys were really good and had so much fun.  I'm pretty sure they are going to be golfers.  We even brought Miller's clubs and he putted quite a bit.  The only problem is Miles kept wanting to pick up the balls and put them in the hole.
I just love this picture!  I'm sure we will have many more pictures like this taken in the future.
We are heading back at the end of July for a few weeks to escape this horrible Houston heat.  Pray the Colorado wildfires get under control and stay away from the western part of the state.
