Bath Time

Miles is still too little to take a bath with Miller, but we did do baths at the same time the other night. Look - they are both frogs!

Miles - Eight Weeks

Miles was eight weeks old on Sept 6. He's already not a tiny infant anymore. He goes to the doctor this week so I'll be sure to update his stats when we get them. He will get his shots too. :(

Miles has such good neck control, I thought we'd try out the bumbo. He can sit in it just fine for about a minute or two and then starts to fuss. I think he gets tired.

Miller is such a good big brother! He is super sweet with him...

...most of the time.

My sweet baby boy. He smiles the most when he is full with a clean diaper - makes sense.

I can't wait to see how long he is.

So sweet!

Labor Day Weekend

We headed to the lake with the Argue family for Labor Day weekend. I t was so nice to get away, even if Miles and I didn't spend a whole lot of time outside. It is still really hot here, but we did have one pretty nice night and we ate dinner outside.

Jud took Miller kayaking and he was so excited to finally ride on the yellow boat that sits in the garage.

Miles sporting his first ball cap.

Daddy and Miles got in the baby pool out on the patio with Miller. It didn't last long as Miles thought the water was too cold.

Miller rode on the blue rocket all by himself.

Miller's First Day of Preschool

Miller's first day of actual preschool was on Wednesday. He's going to the same school (at our church) where he went to Mother's Day Out the last two years. He goes on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. His teacher is Ms. Debbie and she came for a home visit and then we went to see his classroom before school even started. Needless to say, when I dropped him off on the first day he didn't even bat an eye. Just gave me a hug and kiss and said "Bye Mommy. You come pick me up."

He actually posed for the camera this time.

He got a big boy haircut for school. Mommy misses his long hair and thinks it's too short.

Of course he had to hold Miles that morning before we left.
