Breakfast with Santa

While we were in Mexico, Miller stayed with Noni and JoJo. They took him to Breakfast with Santa at our church.
Miller and JoJo with Rudolph. Doesn't it look one of the other reindeer punched him in the face?

Frosty

Excited to see Santa...

...but not wanting to get close.

Mayakoba, Mexico

For my birthday gift and both of our Christmas gifts to each other, we took a 3 night trip to Mayakoba, Mexico (in the Rivera Maya between Cancun and Playa). We got a great deal at Banyon Tree Hotel and it was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at.

Here is the open air lobby with a banyon tree in the lagoon in the center of the main hotel area.

Here is our awesome room.

We had an outdoor bathtub. The wall behind the tub is a wall of votives.

This was our own private courtyard with our own pool.

The hotel has 4:00 tea time everyday so we took advantage of the great weather and enjoyed some tea.

Jud played golf one afternoon. The boat that takes you through the lagoons to and from the beach goes right through the golf course.

The beach was absolutely wonderful. They had these great beach beds that were so comfortable. We could of stayed there for forever.

On the boat headed back to the hotel from the beach.

Heading back into the lobby area on the boat.

At dinner at the hotel signature Thai restaurant - they had delicious food at the hotel.

Christmas is coming!

Rah Rah TCU Horned Frogs!

We drove up to Ft. Worth for the TCU vs. Utah game in mid November and had so much fun!

We stayed at Hotel Storms and Miller loved playing with Laura and Bryce (Benjamin is a little too young to join in the action). The boys took a quick break from running around to pose for a picture.

Jud and Bryan went down to ESPN Gameday on Saturday morning. They were set up in the middle of TCU's awesome new campus. There were so many people there and look how many signs. The announcers were so impressed with the TCU fans.

Jud and Bryan overlooking the ESPN Gameday action. Look how great the campus looks.

The game was at 6:30 Saturday night. Miller was super excited, but was a little confused as he really wanted to see the train and the bunny Junction Jack (he thought we were going to an Astros game). He figured it out as soon as we got to our seats and loved Super Frog. Here he is watching the game with Daddy. Jud threw him up in the air everytime TCU scored.

He was so good at the game. We did go on several walks through the stadium, but overall he did so well.

A sellout - the stadium was so loud and there was so much excitement! Check out the new suites that are a new addition to the stadium this year.

Miller lasted the whole game and didn't even get fussy. We had so much fun and are so proud of our Horned Frogs! See you at the Fiesta bowl!

Trick or Treat

Again our street was crazy on Halloween night. We got started early to avoid the crazy rush of hundreds of people.

Miller was super excited to get more treats.

I dressed up as a cat (super easy).

Jud was cousin Eddie from Vegas Vacation (flippers, yard of beer and all).
Sorry this is a little out of order...
On Friday night we went to the Post Oak YMCA's Fall Festival with some friends.
It was pretty warm so Miller's frog hat came off fast.

Heading into the inflatable obstacle course with daddy.

Loving every minute of it.

He basically climbed the ladder by himself.

Getting ready to go down the big slide.

Jud following him and probably having more fun than Miller.

Jack-O-Lantern

We decided to carve a pumpkin with Miller on Halloween afternoon.

He helped getting the pumpkin insides out for about five minutes and then lost interest.

Since we were missing my 10-year TCU Homecoming this weekend for Halloween and our football team is ranked 6th in the nation, we decided to carve a TCU pumpkin. We were super pleased and lit it proudly in our front window that night. Miller says "Rah Rah TCU Horned Frogs!"

Happy Halloween!

We had a lazy Halloween morning. Jud was playing golf, Miller and I slept until 8:00 and just played around the house. He really loved his Jack-o-lantern PJ's this year (they glow in the dark) so I had to get a few pictures of him in them.

Look at this pose. Could he be any cuter?

Yep, he had Jack-o-lantern socks too!

Halloween Parade at School

On Friday, Miller's school had a small Halloween Parade. All the kids come dressed in costume and the parents stay after they drop them off and line up down the courtyard. Each class parades through the line of parents on their way to chapel.
This is just as his class started the parade. All the kids were a little overwhelmed at the beginning.

I snapped a picture of Miller just as he noticed me. Right after this picture was taken, he realized that I wasn't going with him and had a major meltdown. He was screaming and crying and fell to the ground. One of his teachers had to pick him up and carry him so he wouldn't stop the parade. He continued to scream and cry for me the rest of the parade. Oh, the joys of a two year old.

Pumpkin Patch

We took our annual trip to our church pumpkin patch with our playgroup. We had a small group since the weather had been so bad, but the kids had fun even with a few sprinkles.

He kept saying "giddy up, giddy up!"

Posing on a tree.
