Miles - Ten Months

Miles turned 10 months on the 12th and he is now fully moving. He is crawling all over, pulling up on anything and getting into everything. The next three pictures show how hard it was to capture him at 10 months.

Crawling...
Pulling up...
Waving Bye Bye...I'm already missing being able to sit him down in one place and not having to worry about him.

Miller's Preschool Class Picture

This is Miller's first class picture and it is so good. I can't believe they are all looking at the camera. Yep, he's the tallest in the class, but not by much. We sure are going to miss this class. We have made so many good friends and we hope some of them are in his class next year. We also hope he has teachers that are as good as Ms. Debbie and Ms. Monique.

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day last weekend! We went to church and then to brunch at Mo's with my family.
Me and my precious boys!
The weather was so nice that day and after naps we spent some time outside. Then my parents decided to drive over in my dad's 1965 Mustang. Miles had so much fun driving.

Miller just loves JoJo's red convertible.

Miller's Tumbling Show

On Thursday afternoon Miller goes to tumbling class after school. Last Saturday they had an end of the year show. Sorry these pictures are so dark. No matter what setting we had the camera on, we just couldn't get more light in the gym.

All the kiddos were put in groups and Miller was on the white team. He was chosen to hold the flag for his team.

Miller's "School" Birthday

Since Miller has a summer birthday, he celebrated his birthday at school last Friday. He was a little confused at first, but finally understood once I told him it was his "pretend birthday".

He said he wanted to take M & M cookies to school instead of cupcakes. I thought that was kind of boring, so I got him a big M & M cookie cake. He absolutely loved it! Of course I had a caterpillar put on it since he's in the caterpillar class.

On Fridays, his school has chapel and if it's your birthday you get to wear a crown and go up to the front and everyone sings happy birthday to their friends. Since it really wasn't his birthday, Miller didn't want to wear his crown at first, but he finally got into it. I stayed for chapel to snap a few pictures.

Wasting Away in Margaritaville

On Cinco de Mayo Evan, Blake, Jud and I went to Jimmy Buffett. We have been talking about going with them and my parents for several years. We all decided this was the year and my dad said he would splurge and buy the tickets for the six of us. So, we got tickets the day they went on sale. Then two weeks later, my parents realized they already had a trip planned for that week. Since it was his mistake, my dad told us to go ahead and go if we could sell his two tickets for him. I sold the tickets on StubHub and even made $20 on them.

Jud was ready to party in his old man hawaiian shirt.

Evan the cops in the parking lot were decked out. I'm not sure what a cop on a scooter could do...
We had great seats center stage. Once again...thanks JoJo!
Why does Evan look so short?

Astros Game

We took Miller to his first Astros game of the season a few weeks ago. He saw the baseballs as we were walking up to the stadium and remembered taking a picture on one last year, so he just had to have a picture.
He was super excited to see Junction Jack (mascot) and the train. We saw the train, but Junction Jack was no where to be seen. Miller said he must be in the back eating carrots since he's a bunny. He settled for a picture with Minnie Mouse.
Miller and JoJo watching the game. The Astros stink again this year. Hopefully we will get a new owner soon and they will spend a lot of money on the team.

Tire Swing

I'm trying to be better at catching life moments and not just special things. Miller loves to go across the street to Halle's tire swing. Jud pushes him as high as he possibly can and Miller loves every minute of it. Thanks to the Gibsons for letting us use the swing!

Easter Morning

Miller woke up Easter morning to this note from the Easter Bunny:
He had no trouble finding it and quickly went through all his goodies.
Miles enjoying the ball the Easter Bunny brought him.
In their Easter outfits ready to go to church. I just love the ties.
After church we headed to Royal Oaks for brunch. Both boys were super excited to see the Easter Bunny there. He came by our table several times.
The Argue family Easter picture.
Miller checking out the golf course.

Church Egg Hunt

On the Saturday before Easter, we went to our Church Easter Egg Hunt and had so much fun. The Easter bunny was there. Well, a sad excuse for the Easter bunny.

Miles still loving the bunny ears.
Miller figuring out his action plan.
So many eggs.
He couldn't pick them up fast enough.
