Trick or Treat

Miller's first time trick or treating (last year doesn't count since he was only 2 months old).

Here's Miller heading to the first house.

I can't believe he kept the hood on.

Getting a lolly pop from our neighbor. I'm not sure why he is so excited. He has no idea what candy is.

He's checking out his loot.

Roarrrrrrrrrr!

Miller is a lion for Halloween this year. We have been wearing the costume around to get him used to the hood part. We got some pretty cute pictures of him the other day. He hasn't learned to say Trick or Treat yet, but he can answer the question, "What does a lion say?"

He loves pumpkins, but he calls them balls.

He's getting so big and walking/running all over the place.

Don't let him fool you, he's really not this innocent.

Vegas Baby!

We went on a dad and daughter trip to Las Vegas in mid October. It was a short weekend trip but we had lots of fun.

The three of us in front of the Bellagio fall decorations on our way to Prime Steakhouse. It may have been the best meal I have ever had. Truffle mashed potatos . . . need I say more.

The reason my Dad planned the trip - the Barrett Jackson Car Show. His new hobby is antique cars. I would say this is a pretty large three-wheeler.

On Saturday night we went to Love (the Cirque Du Soleil Beatles show). It was fabulous - I would highly recommend it!

On our way to the Venetian for dinner.

Rah Rah TCU!!! They have a huge stone horned frog coming out of the floor at the Vegas airport. Of course Evan and I had to take a picture on it.

Pumpkin Patch

Miller's play group met at our church pumpkin patch on Friday. We had tons of fun and took lots of great pictures.

Miller with three of his girlfriends Claire Cagle, Hayden Wagner and Lilly Smith (who's not very happy).

Can you see Claire, Lilly and Miller?

Miller - 13 Months

Miller is 13 months and learning so much everyday. He is starting to walk all over the place now. He still has not figured out how stand up without holding on to anything so once he's down he crawls over to something to get back up again. He says a ton of words, but he's still pretty hard to understand (anything that starts with a "B" sounds like Ba - balloon, ball, baby, etc.). We have a busy schedule: Music on Mondays, about to start swim lessons on Tuesdays, Little Gym on Wednesdays, Mother's Day Out on Thursdays and Play Group on Fridays. Here are a few pictures of him playing at home.

He loves his chair and climbs in and out, in and out all the time.

He also loves his tool bench. He is just getting to the point where he will wear hats again.

TCU Girls Weekend

Lindsey and Miller drove up to Dallas/Ft. Worth for a weekend with the college girlfriends. Friday night we had dinner at Taylor's house with the kiddos and Saturday night we went to the TCU football game. It was so much fun to see all the babies and catch up with everyone!

Taylor with Ginger, Maggie with Eli, Lindsey with Miller, Kelly with Marley, Cherie with Maddie and Susan.

Miller at One Year

Miller had his one year Doctor appointment today. He got four shots and was so good. Lets hope he feels ok during the next 24 hours. He weighs 24 lbs. 4 oz. (75%) and is 32 inches long (96%). He's grown a lot in the last three months.

He also took his first steps yesterday at our first music class. He basically just took off. I guess he just needed an audience.

Labor Day in Durango

The Argue family took a trip to Durango, Colorado for a long Labor Day weekend. Evan's boyfriend Blake joined us along with our good family friends the Biddle's (Donna, Bob and Blake). We had lots of fun and even took a day trip to Telluride.

Miller and I on the airplane. He is a seasoned traveler, but this trip was the hardest so far since he is always moving.

This is the house we rented.

This is the first tee at Glacier Club where Joe has a lot. The guys played golf there two days and some of them were able to tee off from up here. What an amazing view!

Our family in front another great view at Glacier Club.

What a picture! It could be the Argue Christmas card.

We hiked to a waterfall close to the house one morning. Jud was the only brave one that climbed up to it. Can you see him?

We also took a day trip to Mesa Verde National Park. Talk about amazing views and ruins.

First Day of Mother's Day Out.

Miller had his first day of Mother's Day Out at our church. Here he is ready to go. Lately he's having issues with Mommy leaving so he screamed and banged on the door for a while. Hopefully it gets better. They also don't have a morning nap so he practically fell asleep while eating lunch - poor guy.

Birthday Lunch

The Argue family went to lunch for Miller and Evan's birthdays (they share the same birthday - August 28).
