Crazy Bath Hair

Britney...Baby!

Evan scored free last minute tickets through work to Britney Spears and invited lucky me. It was so much fun, but more of a performance than a concert.

It's the Circus Tour so she is in a circus train.

We had great seats!

Up in an umbrella.

Bible Study Dinner Party

Melissa and Jason Holton had a dinner party for our Tuesday night girls Bible Study and our husbands. Only five couples were able to come, but we had a great time. The Greek food was amazing (Melissa is a fabulous chef), the wine was good and the company even better.

All the girls (from left: Emily, Melissa and baby Georgia, Ruth, me and Katie).

Ice Cream Cone!!!

He ate the whole thing by himself and didn't want any help!

Astros Game

We went to an Astros game with JoJo last Friday night. Miller was so excited to see the train and the "big bunny" (Mascot Junction Jack).

They gave out flags and had a moment of silence for 9/11. Miller was taking it all in - we paused to sing the National Anthem while we were headed to our seats.

Miller's First Day of Mother's Day Out

Miller right before we left for his first day of school. He was really excited after going to meet his new teachers and seeing his classroom the week before. He goes to Mother's Day Out at our church on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Enjoying a snack with his classmates on the first day of school.

Labor Day Weekend at Lost Pines

We went to the Hyatt Lost Pines outside in Bastrop, TX for Labor Day weekend with the Argue family. We had tons of fun!
Miller on Jud's shoulders in front of a crazy tree carving thing.

Miller walking with JoJo. Do you see is cool shades? He says "It's bright, I need my sunglasses."

Miller on a "big cow" (we didn't tell him the real name of it - no need for him to know that).

Running in the fountains. He didn't like being sprayed in the face.

Blake, Evan and Jud after we dominated and set a course record in the Lost and Found with GPS. We showed all those kids who was boss!

Family Pic before dinner one night.

Growing up!

I still can't believe Miller is two years old. He is just growing up too fast. At every age milestone we take a picture of him with this lamb. We decided this is something we would continue doing until he won't let us do it anymore. It makes me sad to look back at these pictures and see that he isn't a baby anymore. Where did the time go?

One week old.

One year old.

Two years old.

Miller's 2nd Birthday Party

Since one of Miller's favorite places is The Little Gym, we decided we would have his birthday party there. We had been talking about his birthday and party for about a week. He was so excited to wear a hat and blow out his TWO candles! He loved being the center of attention.

Walking on the beam with JoJo. He wanted JoJo to help him with everything, which gave Jud and I some free time to be hosts.

All the kiddos on the parachute. It brings you back to Elementary school, doesn't it?

Miller, Sophia, Isabella and Greyson jumping on the Air Track. It's like a bounce house without the roof or walls.

Monkey cupcakes. He had monkey invitations too.

The birthday boy sitting at the table enjoying his snack with Hayden, Riley and Greyson.

The other table - Gretta, Jackson, Hudson, Lilly and Hudson.

Miller blowing out his candles (well attempting, I had to assist).

He didn't hold back.

Daddy, Miller and Mommy.

Miller and two of his girlfriends (Sophia and Hayden) hiding behind a glass door. They thought it was so funny.

Miller Turns Two!

I can't believe our little (little is a relative term) boy is two years old. It seems like he was just born. He's no longer a baby, that's for sure. He talks in full sentences and understands everything that is said. His mind is a complete sponge as he repeated a country song lyric that was on the radio the other day - we really have to watch what we say. At his two year check-up he weighed 32 lbs. 12 oz. (93%) and was 36.5 inches tall (95%).

Good morning birthday boy. We were off to meet our new teachers and see our new classroom.

The tradition continues ... Evan and Miller at the annual birthday lunch. This is the "we share a birthday picture". Evan turned 24 - Happy birthday Ev!

Daddy took Miller on a bike ride - one of Miller's favorite things to do.

We gave Miller a helmet for his birthday. He didn't really like wearing it at first, but he got used to it. It helped that Daddy wore his helmet.

We have been working on holding up two fingers. He can't quite do it on his own yet, but he can certainly hold them if we help him out a little. We were opening gifts with Noni & JoJo.
