Evan was offered two tickets to the Astros Black Tie and Baseball Caps Gala and she wasn't able to go. We were lucky to be able to go. The gala was on the floor of Minute Maid Park and most of the players/former players were there.

Lights, Camera, Action!
I took Miller to his first movie (Over the Hedge) today. Studio Movie Grill has a summer movie promotion Monday-Thursday at 11:00 where they show children's movies at a discounted price. We got a huge "bowl" of popcorn and had lunch while we were there. He did really well and would have lasted the whole movie if it weren't for a poopie diaper and a broken changing table in the bathroom.

San Miguel, Mexico
We traveled to San Miguel, Mexico over Fourth of July weekend for Jud's cousin Blake's wedding. We had so much fun celebrating Blake and Carly, visiting with family, seeing the beautiful city of San Miguel and drinking a little too much tequila. Needless to say, we all left the little ones at home.

The Beach
On Saturday, June 27 we decided to go with JoJo to Galveston for the afternoon. He had to look at a few properties for work and thought it would be fun if we came along to take Miller to the beach for the first time. Miller napped in the car on the drive there and once we drove by the properties we went straight to the beach. After the beach we went to dinner at the pier. Galveston has changed so much since the last time I was there. You could still see some hurricane damage, but it's coming back bigger and better. It's going to be such a fun place to visit with the kiddos.

Father's Day
Miller got a great Vineyard Vines polo shirt as a gift for his first birthday. When we opened it, Jud realized he had just bought the exact same shirt for himself and hadn't worn it yet. Jud was so excited to have such cool matching shirts, but Miller's shirt was a size 2T so he couldn't wear it for a while. Jud decided not to wear his shirt until Miller could fit into his. Well, it finally fits, so we broke the shirts out for Father's Day. They looked so cute going to church I had to snap some pictures.
