Europe Adventure

We went on a 11 day vacation to Europe in May. Some good friends got married in Northern Italy and we traveled around after the wedding. We had a great trip, despite the rainy weather. It was hard to be away from Miller that long. Jud's Mom came down for the first five days and Lindsey's parents kept him for the last six. He was so good while we were gone.

Lake Maggiore-Verbania

This is the view from our hotel in Verbania - breathtaking.

Here is part of the group that was in town for the wedding eating pizza at a local pizzeria. From the left: Bryan & Carrie Storms, Esther Cowan, Ricky Paradise and his sister Cody, and Lindsey.

Here we are at the wedding reception. It was such an amazing place for a wedding. Too bad it rained, but "plan B" was still beautiful.

Here are all the TCU Frogs that attended along with the bride and groom (Amabel and Andrew Luers). From Left: Chris Hlavacek, Ricky Paradise, Lindsey, Jud, Andrew & Amabel Luers, Bryan Storms and Ben Cowan.

Milan

This is the stunning Duomo in Milan. It's the third largest church in the world.

Munich, Germany

Ricky and Cody traveled with us to Munich. Here are Jud and Ricky acting like the dancers on the Glockenspiel which is behind them.

We took a bike tour through the city of Munich. It didn't rain much that day, but boy was it cold.

Lucerne, Switzerland

This is the oldest covered bridge.

Here we are in a gondola headed up a mountain. Once we go up there we were in the middle of a cloud/fog and could only see about 20 feet in front of us. Our plan was to hike down the bottom half, but it was just too dang cold and foggy.

Paris, France

In front of the Eiffel Tower at night. We went to the first level and watched the sun set and then went to the top and saw the city at night.

We to the palace at Versailles and here we are in the gardens. It was so beautiful and we almost got out of there before the rain started.

Mustang Miller!

JoJo (Lindsey's Dad) bought a 1965 Convertible Mustang for a fun, drive-around car. Miller already enjoys it even though he can't ride in it until seat belts are installed in the back seat.

Evan's TCU Graduation

Lindsey's sister, Evan, graduated from TCU on May 10. We had a great family weekend in Fort Worth.
Here's the whole family before graduation with Evan's boyfriend Blake.

Miller - Eight Months

I'm crawling slowly but surely, pulling up and starting to eat some table food. As you can tell, I'm still all smiles.

Crawling Already

Miller has been so close to crawling for about a month - in position and rocking back and forth. Some friends had a party and he decided to crawl for the first time while we were there. I guess he just needed an audience. We actually captured it on camera, too.

The Carousel Ride

We met some friends at the mall by our house and took Miller on his first carousel ride. I'm not so sure he liked it. What do you think?

Go Astros!

We took Miller to his second Astros game. Despite the heat (the roof was open for a day game) we had a great time.
Here he is in his Astros duds ready for the game.

He was more interested in JoJo's face than he was in the game.

Doors

Miller is pulling up already so we thought we would take some pictures in front of Noni and JoJo's antique doors.

MS150 - Houston to Austin

Jud and Blake rode in the MS150 Houston to Austin bike ride on Team Carney Men. They did great and were super speedy even with 12-20 mph head winds. Look how great they look at lunch on the second day.

Evan and Lindsey were their pit crew and had lots of fun navigating through entire central Texas. This is the four of us just after they crossed the finish line.

Trip to Lincoln

We traveled to Lincoln the first weekend in April for cousin Andrea's wedding. We went from one event to the next. It was great to see everyone.
